The entire cabin via self check-in will be at your disposal! Please note: The fire pits and grounds are a shared space. We invite you to use them at your leisure and hope you’ll enjoy sharing the outdoor spaces with others. The parking area is also a shared space with plenty of parking stalls.

If needed, we’re only a phone call/message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.

Hatch is a small ranching town with a year-round population of only a few hundred people, so the area feels quiet, laid-back, and surrounded by open scenery. Within a short walk you'll find local favorites like Sevier Coffee Co., Hatch Station Cafe, and a few seasonal restaurants and convenience stores. The neighborhood sits along the scenic corridor between Bryce Canyon and Zion, with views of red rock formations, nearby access to the Sevier River, and easy drives to Red Canyon and Dixie National Forest. Don't expect a bustling tourist town—most visitors come here for the slower pace, dark skies, and convenient access to Southern Utah's outdoor attractions.

Getting around is easiest by car, and most visitors use Hatch as a home base while exploring Bryce Canyon, Zion, Red Canyon, Panguitch, and the surrounding hiking areas. The town itself is small enough that you can walk to a coffee shop, restaurant, or convenience store, but attractions outside of town generally require driving. There is no local public transportation system, rideshare availability can be limited, and many guests spend their days exploring scenic highways and nearby parks by vehicle. Parking is available on-site, making it easy to come and go throughout your stay.

😎 What’s Hatch, UT all about?
Hatch is a tiny ranching town surrounded by some of Southern Utah’s most dramatic scenery. It’s the kind of place where you’ll see wide-open valleys, red rock cliffs, and dark night skies rather than busy streets or crowds. Most visitors use Hatch as a base for exploring Bryce Canyon, Red Canyon, Dixie National Forest, and nearby hiking trails, then return for a quieter evening. Just keep in mind that the town is small and some restaurants and services operate seasonally, which is part of what gives Hatch its laid-back, off-the-beaten-path feel.

✓ There are two convenience stores and 4 restaurants in Hatch, but they close from about October 15th through April 15th. There are several restaurants on the way to Bryce Canyon and some are open year round.
✓ The nearest grocery store is in Panguitch (15 mins) and you will find a Walmart Super Center in Cedar City or a grocery store in Kanab (1 hour).
✓ Please remember this is a no-pet hotel. If you have a certified service animal (different than an ESA), please message us with your current documentation that matches a guest's name before your visit.
✓ For safety reasons, the use of hot plates, propane stoves, butane burners, and similar portable cooking devices is strictly prohibited inside this cabin due to fire risk and limited ventilation. These items may only be used in designated outdoor areas and must never be used indoors.
