It’s peaceful and feels private, but you’re still just a short drive from the main Hochatown strip where spots like Grateful Head Pizza Oven & Tap Room and Hochatown Saloon bring a bit of energy with live music and dining. You’ll see a mix of families and groups coming in for weekend getaways, and overall it’s considered a safe, low-key area—just expect dark nights, quiet surroundings, and the occasional deer wandering through.
Getting around here is pretty straightforward, but you’ll definitely want a car since everything is spread out and there’s no real public transportation. Most of the popular spots—restaurants, breweries, and entrances to Beavers Bend State Park or Broken Bow Lake—are about a 5–15 minute drive. Parking is easy almost everywhere, including at restaurants and trailheads, and you won’t have to deal with traffic like in bigger tourist towns. Rideshares can be limited, especially late at night, so it’s best to plan on driving or designating someone in your group.

We had a great time!
We had an amazing stay and would absolutely book this cabin again! It was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our group. I love that there are 4 spacious bedrooms with full bathrooms inside! Home is beautifully decorated. Be prepared to drive on bumpy roads! I had never been to Broken Bow and to get to a lot of the cabins, you have to drive unpaved roads! Overall the stay was nothing short of amazing! We truly loved our stay and would definitely come back!
The listing does not state the roads leading to the house was a 5 mile gravel road which took 20mins, not good for sedans, preferable for trucks and SUV,s. Cleaning left to the last minute and as a results bathroom supplies were short. No closets in the bedrooms downstairs. The house is well maintained and roomy but no recliners in the living room(only a couch and 2 chairs) and not enough furniture to accommodate a large group unless you use dining chairs. Great for kids as plenty of room to play. In my opinion, a bit overpriced based on our previous stay at Broken Bow.
