The roads are paved but a bit hilly, and depending on the time of year, you might hear a little music or chatter from nearby cabins. It’s a pretty typical Hochatown-style pocket—wooded, relaxed, and designed for people who want that “in the trees” cabin experience while still being a short drive from spots like Mountain Fork Brewery and the main strip.

Getting around here is pretty straightforward—most people drive everywhere since things are spread out between the cabins, the Hochatown strip, and the lake. You’ll be just a short drive from restaurants, breweries, and activities, and parking is usually easy and available at most places. There’s no real public transportation, so having a car is key, especially if you plan to explore the state park, lake, or hiking trails. Rideshare can be limited or slower during busy weekends, so it’s better to plan on driving yourself for most outings.

Broken Bow has this laid-back, cabin-in-the-woods vibe where everything revolves around slowing down and being outside. Most of the action is tucked into Hochatown, where you’ll find a mix of breweries, distilleries, casual food spots, and a few quirky attractions all clustered together. Beyond that, it’s all about the pines, the lake, and the river—people come here to hike, kayak, sit by a fire, and just unplug for a bit. It can get a little busier during peak seasons, but overall it still keeps that quiet, nature-first feel that makes it easy to relax.

✓ Firewood isn’t always provided, so you may want to grab some locally for the fire pit. Please fully extinguish fires after use and clean the grill after grilling.
✓ Age requirement: The minimum age to book is 18. We kindly ask that no parties or events are held—any violations may result in immediate termination of the stay.
