The area around the cabin is made up primarily of privately owned cabins tucked among tall pine trees, giving it the peaceful, wooded atmosphere that draws so many visitors to Broken Bow. Within a short drive, you'll reach the Hochatown area, where you'll find popular spots like Mountain Fork Brewery, Girls Gone Wine, Grateful Head Pizza, and Choctaw Landing. The neighborhood is generally quiet, especially in the evenings, though it's common to see deer and other wildlife passing through. Most visitors come for a mix of outdoor recreation, lake days, hiking, dining, and relaxing in a cabin setting.

Getting around is easiest by car, and most guests drive to Broken Bow and Hochatown. Attractions, restaurants, wineries, breweries, Broken Bow Lake, Beavers Bend State Park, and Choctaw Landing are all just a short drive away. Public transportation is very limited in the area, and rideshare availability can be inconsistent, especially later in the evening, so having your own vehicle is recommended. Parking is generally plentiful throughout the area, including at most restaurants, attractions, trailheads, and shopping areas.

💡 Other things to note
✓ As you're tucked among towering pines, you may spot deer and other local wildlife during your stay.
✓ The cabin offers a secluded setting, so roads and outdoor areas may be darker at night than in town.
✓ Being surrounded by nature, seasonal insects are common in the Broken Bow area despite regular pest treatments.
✓ The cabin is tucked in the woods, so you may see wildlife like deer and occasional insects—pretty normal for the area, especially during warmer months.
✓ We recommend using Google Maps instead of Apple Maps, as Apple Maps can be unreliable in this area of Broken Bow. We’ll also send clear arrival directions.
✓ Firewood isn’t always provided, so you may want to grab some locally for the fire pit. Please fully extinguish fires after use and clean the grill after grilling.
✓ Age requirement: The minimum age to book is 18. We kindly ask that no parties or events are held—any violations may result in immediate termination of the stay.
✓ Indoor Fireplace: Available for use from October 1 – March 31.
✓ Hot Tub Use: The hot tub is professionally cleaned between stays.
✓ Pet Policy: $45 per pet, per stay; with no limit on the number of pets.

Escape to a secluded Broken Bow couples retreat beneath the pines! Unwind in the hot tub, soak in the jacuzzi tub, and cozy up by the indoor or outdoor fireplace. Mins from Hochatown dining, wineries, Broken Bow Lake, and Choctaw Landing Casino.
