We treat the property monthly for pests; however, due to the forested location, occasional encounters with bugs or wildlife are possible. No refunds will be given for such instances, as they are part of the natural outdoor experience.

Please note that, as this is a newer development in Hochatown, the roads are unpaved, mostly gravel, and dusty. 4x4 is not required, but please drive carefully and use Google Maps. We recommend putting it into Google Maps while still on the highway.

Getting around here is pretty straightforward, but you’ll definitely want a car since there’s no real public transportation in the area. Most places you’ll want to go—like restaurants, the lake, or activities in Hochatown—are just a short drive away, usually within 10–20 minutes. Parking is easy almost everywhere, including at the cabin where there’s plenty of space (even for trailers or boats). Rideshares can be limited and inconsistent, especially at night, so it’s best to plan on driving yourself or having a designated driver if you’re heading out.
